Turtle Pond with waterfall and stream, Scotts Valley.

Client wanted a focal point for his large front lawn and a place for turtles. The pond had to compliment an outdoor kitchen area and gazebo and be a good location for extensive landscaping around the perimeter. The sound of the waterfall had to be soothing and the stream was designed to have a curved and meandering feel to it.

One of the turtles in this pond would leave for months at a time to visit a nearby river and then return after a period of hibernation.
