This 20’ x 16’pond with an upper wetland system, waterfall and stream was set in a large open landscape bordering onto open hills in Hollister. The flow of the waterfalls was directed towards the house with the hills in the background and there was extensive planting and landscaping done to compliment the boulders and water feature. Two pumps were used so that an increased flow could be created whenever the client desired to have more dramatic flow in the waterfall.

An aspect of the feature is a large natural boulder shaped like a bowl where the water falls over – one particular stone like this can help the feature have unique characteristics.
